Bruce Brown is a trial and appellate lawyer representing clients in complex commercial and constitutional litigation with substantial experience in multiparty mediation, arbitration and trials.
Bruce has represented in mediation:
- the State of Georgia in interstate water rights disputes with the United States and the States of Alabama and Florida;
- a computer services outsourcing and software development company in a complex multi-million dollar dispute with its customer
- a Florida financial institution in a multi-million dollar malpractice case against its former law firm
- a major computer hardware and services company in a $40 million software development dispute with its customer
- a major computer hardware and services company in a multi-million dollar software development dispute with its subcontractor
- shareholders in dissenter's rights cases
- a major insurance company in class actions challenging the company's conversion from a nonprofit to a for-profit corporation
- a Fortune 100 media corporation in a cartoon licensing dispute
- a national automobile dealership group in a complex dispute with its commercial landlord
- general contractors and owners in numerous construction related disputes
Bruce has also served as an arbitrator in commercial cases and tried a number of cases to arbitration panels in Atlanta, New York, and San Francisco.
Bruce clerked for The Honorable Warren E. Burger, Chief Justice of the United States and The Honorable Edward Allen Tamm, United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
