John F. Allgood
Is an attorney with more than twenty years experience as an independent neutral in the areas of commercial, real estate, construction, employment and warranty disputes. He is listed on provider panels for the American Arbitration Association, The National Arbitration Forum, National Association of Security Dealers (NASD), the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, the DeKalb County Courts Dispute Resolution Center, the National Center for Dispute Settlement, Construction Arbitration Services Inc. as well as having been on the 1996 and 1998 U.S. Olympic Committee Arbitration Panels.

He has served as a single arbitrator and on panels of arbitrators for over 20 years in a variety of legal matters and cases. He chaired the 2002 seminar, ADR and the Corporate Counsel sponsored by the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Arbitration Association.

John is also a registered mediator listed with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has served as a mediator for private disputes as well as for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He serves on the CPR employment committee.

Additionally, John is a member of the Georgia Bar, the ADR and Corporate Counsel Sections (past Chair), and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts in the N.D. and S.D. of Georgia as well as to the U.S. Supreme Court.

John is of counsel to Ford & Harrison and is located in the firm’s
Atlanta office.
