Is a shareholder in the Atlanta office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Mr. Trigg is a trial lawyer who represents clients in a broad range of matters, including corporate and partnership disputes, class action litigation, defamation and media claims, real estate disputes, securities litigation and commercial disputes. Mr. Trigg’s clients range from individual entrepreneurs to Fortune 50 corporations, and include a number of public officials, entertainers and professional athletes. Mr. Trigg has extensive experience in governmental litigation and administrative proceedings. He has served as Special Counsel to the City of Atlanta Ethics Board and participated in drafting proposed amendments to the Georgia Ethics in Government Act.
A former United Methodist minister, Mr. Trigg’s experience includes jury and
non-jury trials in state and federal courts, appellate work, mediation and arbitration.
Mr. Trigg has been recognized as a Georgia "Super Lawyer" by Atlanta magazine
and a "Rising Star in Georgia Business" by Georgia Trend magazine. He serves
as President of the Board of Directors of the Federal Defender Program, Inc.
and has served as an instructor with the Emory Law School N.I.T.A. Trial Techniques
Program.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig in May 2002, Mr. Trigg practiced with Meadows, Ichter & Trigg, P.C., which he co-founded in 1992, and Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy.
Mr. Trigg is a volunteer with the Truancy Intervention Program, a member of the Tuxedo Park Civic Association, the Gate City Bar Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and St. Mark United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Darlene, reside in Atlanta.
