Randy C. Gepp has over twenty-seven years of practice specializing in the areas of employment discrimination and labor relations. He has tried numerous cases before federal and state courts in Georgia, Florida, California, Alabama, and many other states. He is a past President of the employment section of the Atlanta Bar Association and serves on the Employment Law Committee of the American Bar Association. He was named in 2004 and 2005 as a "Super Lawyer" in employment litigation by
Atlanta magazine and is a designated employment specialist in the State of Florida. He was appointed by several Governors of Georgia to serve as a special master for the Georgia Office of Employment Practices with responsibility for conducting trials based on cases brought by employees against state agencies. He serves as a hearing officer for employment claims made against the City of Forest Park, Georgia.
In addition to specializing in labor and employment matters, Mr. Gepp has served as a mediator in more than 250 cases since 1987. The majority of cases he now mediates involve employment and labor issues. He has been associated with various mediation organizations. He regularly conducts mediator training and has published various articles on both employment issues and mediations.
Mr. Gepp has been a partner in the firm of Hollowell, Foster & Gepp, P.C. since 1989. His practice consists of representation in employment discrimination, labor relations, contracts, and administrative law matters before all federal and states courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. He supervises a number of attorneys in the firm who are involved in employment and litigation matters.
Mr. Gepp is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Florida Bar Association, California Bar Association, American Bar Association (Employment Law Section), Atlanta Bar Association, Lawyers Club, and various civic organizations. He published a quarterly newsletter on employment and labor issues from 1990 through 1998 and frequently speaks on employment law and mediation topics.
Mr. Gepp graduated from Emory University School of Law with distinction in 1977. He was selected to be a member of the Order of the Coif and graduated in the top 5% of his class. He graduated
summa cum laude from Kalamazoo College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics. He co-authored an economic treatise presented to the Midwest Economics
Convention in 1974.
